In this Blog I would like to provide an update on our soon to launch eating device for Parkinson’s

ChillSpill should be available by the end of July! ChillSpill provides a unique solution to the problems of tremor activity at mealtime. In addition to being beneficial for Parkinson’s it is also an eating device for Essential Tremor and other conditions resulting in tremor activity at mealtime.

Chillspill features a sloping tray that routes food that may be spilled from the fork or spoon back onto the plate or bowl. Supporting side surfaces allow the user to slide their wrists up the Chillspill which can have a tremor reducing impact. A photo of the Chillspill prototype is below.

Using the Chillspill may result in increased nutritional intake as less food will be spilled onto the table, floor or clothing. Also less spilling may result in less anxiety for the user during meals. We like to say More Chill = Less Spill.

If you are using weighted utensils and are still struggling with control, try the Chillspill, it can be used right along with weighted utensils and other strategies.
