Rehabmart

We are very excited to let you know that the assistive eating aid Panini Eatzii is now available at www.rehabmart.com. Rehabmart’s mission is to empower, educate and carefully select products that promote independence, improve function and make an innovative impact on the lives of persons using the products.

Rehabmart is owned and operated by Occupational and Physical Therapists and is located in Watkinsville Georgia. Mike Price OT and Hulet Smith OT own and operate the company. Both Mike and Hulet are fathers to children with special needs.

Rehabmart supports local job growth in Elberton county Georgia. They have contracts with the VA and GSA meaning that veterans can obtain equipment needed for essential functioning without incurring expenses.

One of their core values is that people are the most important part of their business.

Consistent with their values and mission, their website includes “Caregiver University” which provides expert informational content on topics related to physical rehabilitation.

We developed the assistive eating aid Panini Eatzii to empower individuals who have limited arm movement to experience increased independence with the important self care activity of dining. We knew going in that this wasn’t going to be a product for a lot of people but for the people who could benefit it could have an important positive impact on their lives.

When I first discussed the Panini Eatzii with Justin of Rehabmart he was immediately interested in it’s functionality and application. What he didn’t do was to focus solely on potential number of units sold per year, etc. Remember that mission in the beginning paragraph? This is a company that lives it’s mission!

Justin and Pauline set up a zoom meeting with me during which despite my computer going mute (we used speaker function on our cell phones) I demonstrated how individuals can eat hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, pizza and more independently using head movement.

During the process of listing Panini Eatzii on Rehabmart, communication was timely and clear.

Let’s get to the actual listing at www.rehabmart.com! Marissa was instrumental in generating the graphics and text associated with the listing. Marissa did a fantastic job and we are more than thrilled with it! Unlike with other companies we were actually asked for input during the editing process!

So if you are an individual looking for a specific assistive device or wondering if there is a device that fills a specific need please consider visiting www.rehabmart.com. Therapists can also keep up on new equipment and find useful information at the “Caregiver University.”

In summary, at Canoe Creek Products we are honored to be associated with Rehabmart and hope to contribute to the ongoing fulfillment of their mission.

Update: 6-13-23: Due to production difficulties we are discontinuing production and sales of Panini Eatzii. We do encourage you to visit Rehabmart for your rehabilitation equipment needs.
